Lavender Bath Soak
There’s been a lot of motion lately while everything has simultaneously gone still. It feels a little like being stuck in a snow globe. Today, I needed a break. I drew a warm bath to unwind, but not before mixing up a batch of my favorite bath salts.
Magnesium in epsom salt alleviates muscle tension. Lavender essential oil relaxes. Rose and calendula soothe and brighten tired skin.
Mix up a batch, draw a warm bath, light some candles, read a good book. Soak in the magic. Now is all we have.
For this, there are no directions. Find what feels good. For me it’s a handful of epsom salts, 2 pinches of calendula flowers, 1 pinch of rosebud flowers, and 5-8 drops of lavender essential oil. For you, it could be something completely different. Trust yourself.
