Fennel has been extensively used for its inherent medicinal and culinary properties since ancient times. Fennel seeds are a storehouse of essential vitamins, nutrients and minerals like vitamin C, vitamin A, fibre, potassium, manganese, zinc, iron, and calcium. They contain polyphenols such as rosmarinic acid, chlorogenic acid, quercetin and apigenin.
They can promote digestive health, ease bloating, add glow to the skin, and boost cardiovascular health.
Directions: add one teaspoon of fennel seed to boiling water. Steep for 5 minutes. Strain and enjoy.
FYI: Please consult your healthcare provider prior to use if you are pregnant or nursing, taking any medication, or have a medical condition.
