Rosehip

2 oz.

Rosehips are the fruit of the rose plant, typically from species like Rosa canina or Rosa rugosa. Some potential benefits of rosehip include:

Rich in Vitamin C: Rosehips are exceptionally high in vitamin C, containing even more of this essential nutrient than oranges. Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that supports the immune system, promotes collagen production for skin health, and aids in the absorption of iron. Consuming rosehip tea can help boost immunity and overall health.

Anti-inflammatory: Rosehips contain various bioactive compounds, including polyphenols and flavonoids, which have anti-inflammatory properties. Regular consumption of rosehip tea may help reduce inflammation throughout the body, alleviating symptoms of inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, joint pain, and gastrointestinal inflammation.

Joint Health: The anti-inflammatory properties of rosehips can be particularly beneficial for joint health. Studies have shown that rosehip extract may help reduce pain and improve mobility in individuals with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Rosehip tea may help support joint function and alleviate symptoms of stiffness and discomfort.

Skin Regeneration: Rosehip is rich in essential fatty acids, such as omega-3 and omega-6, as well as vitamins A and E, which can promote skin hydration, elasticity, and regeneration.

Directions: add one teaspoon of rosehip to hot water. Steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain and enjoy.
